FINDING SHOWS TO SEE
If this is your first time coming to the Hollywood Fringe Festival, be prepared to be a bit overwhelmed by all the options. With over a thousand performances of hundreds of shows throughout a one month period, it can be difficult to determine what to see. Have no fear-- consider this a theatre adventure!
On our site, you can search for shows in a lot of different ways at hollywoodfringe.org/shows. You can search by tag, category, venue or date. We suggest loosely structuring your time on the Fringe. Pick one or two shows you definitely want to attend as well as a few you might like to try (remember to consider time constraints and shows' proximity to one another).
You can also pop into our digital Fringe Central where you can talk to other participants about their show recommendations. You can download the Fringe app which can come in really handy when you're trying to find shows to see. There are usually at least one or two shows dedicated solely to helping audience members discover shows (like the Cabaret presented by Fringe on FringeTV).
Worried about fitting everything in? We've got a tool at hollywoodfringe.org/scheduler that can help you keep track of your schedule.
Don't take the selection process too seriously! Often the best experiences are had by those willing to take a few risks.
HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS
To purchase tickets online, navigate to the project page for the show you'd like to see, then click "Tickets". Enter the amount of tickets you'd like to purchase for your desired performance date/time and then click "Add to Cart". In some instances, you may be prompted to name your own ticket price. You can continue buying tickets to multiple productions in the same way. When you are ready to check out, click the cart in the upper-right corner of your screen.
If you've bought a livestream ticket, an automatic email will be sent with the link to your production's livestream. Please save this email, but if for some reason you can't find it in your inbox come show time, we will be sending a second announcement one-hour before show with your link again. If you still don't see it 45 minutes before show time, please contact support@hollywoodfringe.org and we can help you get settled.
You may not be able to buy tickets online for certain performances if you are trying to purchase four hours or less before the performance, so please buy early!
We’ve gone to great lengths to make ticketing fees as low as possible. Patrons are charged the service fee of $3.00 on any ticket greater than $0, including PWYC tickets where an amount greater than $0 is provided.
Patrons may also purchase tickets using the Fringe box office number, during the hours when Fringe Central is open: 323-455-4585. Note that all phone sales will incur a per-order $3.00 convenience charge on top of the service fee.
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
Refunds are handled by the support team at the Fringe. Any refund request we receive before the scheduled performance time will be honored. Refunds are not possible once a settlement check is sent to the participating production.
The Fringe Team will also swap performance times upon request assuming there is no price difference. You can email us at support@hollywoodfringe.org.
TICKETING DISCOUNTS
If you are planning to attend several Fringe shows, we recommend purchasing a Fringe Button for $5. This will earn you ticketing discounts, deals at local businesses participating in our Hot Spot program and a lot more. To learn all about Buttons & Hot Spots, go here.
